Ben Sherman reveals its latest Advertising Campaign for the Fall/Winter 2021 Collection, starring British pop-rock band The Vamps.

Fresh from dressing Team GB, the British Olympic team, for Tokyo 2020, Ben Sherman has moved onto the world of music, tapping The Vamps for its fall 2021 ad campaign.

The four band members — Bradley Simpson, Connor Ball, Tristan Evans and James McVey, who have recently reunited post-pandemic — model the collection, which is called Young Soul Rebels.

The campaign is meant to capture the musicians’ camaraderie during rehearsals ahead of their upcoming U.K. tour, which kicks off on Sept. 4. Rehearsing and relaxing, the images show them reconnecting and playing live music.

The Collection – In the early years, the British Mod and Ska revival era drew some of its prominent style cues from reggae, dancehall sound systems, 70’s soul, and jazz scenes.
Today, Ben Sherman takes inspiration from those 70’s soul-rockers to create sharp styling for this collection, utilising bold colour palettes and incorporating musical iconography and graphic detailing. This new aesthetic exudes confidence with a contemporary attitude, and yet gives a respectful nod back to the days of the “Young Soul Rebels.”
British heritage-inspired checks are a recurring theme across product categories. 60’s and 70’s styling, highlights knitwear paired with relaxed-fitting trouser silhouettes, retro-inspired sportswear, and warm textured fleece. Stylish luxe jersey joggers, heritage checks, pintuck formal details and cuffed wool joggers are seasonal essentials. Other key-trends combine folk knits, and heritage prints for a modern retro look. Shirt jackets have evolved, and items such as the quilted shirt jacket, have crossed over from Ivy League into the mainline collection.
